The Beat Farmers on Letterman Show “Hideaway” (1991)

Here’s a rare video clip of the Beat Farmers appearing on the Dave Letterman show. I believe the date on this show was June 14, 1991, the same night the band played at the Lone Star Roadhouse in New York City. At the time, the Beat Farmers were Joey Harris, Jerry Raney, Country Dick Montana and Rolle ‘Dexter’ Love. As you watch this clip, you’ll see that this isn’t really the Beat Farmers performing per se, but the Beat Farmers playing with the Paul Shaffer band. Country Dick is playing the accordion, decked out in his duster coat and beer goggles. If you look closely, you can see that guitarist Jerry Raney (wearing sunglasses) is wearing an Ace bandage, as he had some some kind of hand injury that day, and uses his left hand to shake hands with Letterman after the song is over. On this clip, Dave Letterman talks about how he wishes he could join the Beat Farmers if his TV gig ever falls apart. I found a little article on the web written by Fred O’Hara & Lilia Marin that discusses the Letterman appearance: * * * * * * Joey (Harris) goes on talking about the Beat Farmers’ media relations, “The story behind our appearance on the David Letterman show is that we were with still Curb records and we just released the live record Live, Loud, and Plowed. Our manager at the time got a call from the Letterman people who said `we have been looking for you guys for months, Curb Record says you are not with them anymore’, when we were. It just goes to show how little they got involved

Where can I find vegetarian walking/hiking shoes?
admin | October 28, 2011 | 10:13 pm | Boots | 3 Comments

I need some shoes that acres suitable for skin walking. I' m A vegan they need tons of fuel element non more leather but in such a way thus waterproof/gore tex. I currently have some trail running shoes from synthetic material which acres perfect as they acres really comfy with good grip on the soles but they acres mainly mesh and they let in both rain and more water when the ground is wet in such a way and softly. To Does anyone know where I CAN find something along thesis LINEs but waterproof? I have tried the vegetarian shoe sites but they mainly have very bulky looking hiking boat, I really want something lightweight and flexible.

This is a quick clip of the famous ‘Death To The Vacuum Cleaner’ effect in certain versions of Warren Spector’s classic game, Deus Ex. I’m a little rusty from the Morrowind so it could be better, but it should provide ample demonstration. I also attempted to lock Simons in the cupboard, but forgot to make sure he was out of ammo first. Recorded under Linux with Yukon
