It’s made by Keela and is about 5 years old. It’s not Goretex but it’s something very similar. I wore it hiking up a hill in a torrential downpour then left it in my car boot for a month. Now it stinks.
I’ve tried febreeze, airing it and washing it in the machine and it still stinks.
Help me!
I bought a pair of hiking boots from a high street store and wore them once. They tore my feet to ribbons. Can I return them for a refund as they are not fit for purpose?
Is there anything I can do, underhand or otherwise, as I don;t see mydelf using these again and they did cost a fair bit of money. . . .

I have pain in my lower leg It occours around the left side of my shin bone but only goes from the top of my ankle to around the middle of my lower leg I can feel fine and no pain yet when I sprint the pain becomes quite severe and stays around for days. It happens when I first went to the Peak District, during the walk it was fine but after the pain began to appear. Does anyone know what the problem might be? By the way I was wearing proper hiking boots.

Im planning ben nevis this weekend, and doing it on a budget. I am reasonably fit and do quite a bit of running, so i would judt like to know will my running shoes (silver shadows – army issue) be ok for the hike or will i need to invest to some walking boots?
ME and my Explorer unit of acres doing operation trifishes this year, and in emergency sure I have all OF the kits. For those OF you who don' t know what operation trifishes is it is A fifteen mile night hike in ash down forest. I have been spending increasing amount on OF time outdoors camping, more whatever the more weather. I Don' t DO lengthy hikes le I need decent waterproof boat but I don' t know where ton start – full grain, nubuck etc.? is gore tex essential? I want decent boat that wants read but acres emergency expensive! There of acres A plumb bob OF but cant cheap option (EEC Northwest Territory) find useful testimony. Please help!
