Nice coins. I usually have to buy my Civil War coins from CollectorsInternet, but they’re well worth the money. Most of my coins have doubled in value in the past 5 years.
That’s a really nice 1861 3-cent silver coin, especially for a dig! Those are usually found with heavy wear.

im from wichita, ks. what town was this in?
I live here in Fredericksburg Va. right next to a battle field its illegal too metal detect here on the camps and battle grounds anywhere you can on private property with permisson but that can go so far.
